← cd ..# Everscale Network — Blockchain Ecosystem & DeFi Smart Contracts
# Description
⚡ The Challenge
- Architect and deploy distributed, asynchronous smart contracts using the TVM (Threaded Virtual Machine) framework;
- Design secure, audited smart contracts for EVM-compatible networks (Ethereum, BNB Chain);
- Engineer resilient token bridging pipelines for cross-chain transactions between isolated environments;
- Implement and fine-tune mathematical liquidity pool models for instant token exchanges (swaps);
- Embed fluid frontend connectivity with decentralized wallet extensions (SparX, EVER Wallet);
🔌 Integrations
- Everscale Network Portal: Developed and scaled the official web ecosystem interface, incorporating direct hooks into blockchain explorers (Everscan) for live network diagnostics.
- Octus Bridge: Programmed core asset wrapping and cross-chain mechanics. Authored secure Lock/Mint smart contract controllers across Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Everscale networks.
- FlatQube DEX: Engineered decentralized AMM exchange contracts, liquidity provider (LP) modules, yield farming systems, and custom swap routers.
🎯 Results
- Successfully deployed robust distributed smart contracts under TIP-3 (Everscale) and ERC-20 (EVM) standards, fully compliant with web3 security practices;
- Secured fluid, zero-downtime asset wrapping and transfers across cross-chain bridge nodes;
- Streamlined swap execution mechanics on the DEX, significantly dampening transaction gas overhead on complex multi-hop trades;
- Built a highly intuitive, one-click Web3 user interaction wrapper for the DApp interface layers;
🛠 Technical Challenges
- The Asynchronous Execution Paradigm in TVM (T-Sol): Unlike synchronous EVM runs, Everscale cross-contract calls are asynchronous. This introduces severe partial-state risks if a downstream call fails mid-execution chain.
Solution: Architected an asynchronous rollback contract pattern utilizing deterministic callback message routines to automatically refund user assets if an intermediary step in a cross-contract chain fails.
- Mitigating Cross-Chain Liquidity Insecurities (Bridge Vulnerabilities): Bridges represent major DeFi risk targets vulnerable to replay mutations and forged relay signatures.
Solution: Enforced rigorous Multi-Signature validator checks inside both EVM and TVM receiving endpoints. Layered the transfer mechanisms with cryptographic nonces and programmatic timelocks to completely isolate the contracts against double-spend exploits.
- Data Type Discrepancies and State Models (EVM vs TVM): EVM relies heavily on uint256 storage structures, whereas TVM distributes state across distinct cell contracts. Bridging token amounts frequently triggered decimal scaling and overflow mismatches.
Solution: Developed precise conversion helper libraries in Solidity and T-Sol, standardizing number precision variables and ensuring safe decimals mapping across networks during cross-chain translation loops.
